About Us
Optio Venture Partners traces its origins back to 2011, when our forerunner company was founded in London to deliver specialist personnel and cutting-edge IT solutions to NATO Headquarters, NATO mission areas, and select defense clients. These were complex, multi-year projects—mission-critical in both scope and scale—and they laid the foundation for our deep understanding of defense ecosystems and operational excellence.
In response to the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union, we re-domiciled to Denmark in 2022. This move not only strengthened our European presence but also marked a significant expansion of our services. As the character of warfighting shifted dramatically—with the rise of AI, autonomous systems, and asymmetric threats—so too did the defense requirements of NATO members and Western allies. We evolved to meet this new reality.
Today, our focus is on building and scaling the capabilities that modern defense and industry demand. From dual-use technologies to rapidly deployable systems, our mission is to help shape and deliver what is needed for global security—now and into the future.
